Best advent calendar for adults

Merry Christmas MN Christmas lovers.
I’ll bring to your attention first that this thread is on the Christmas board, so if it’s too early for you, you can just flounce elsewhere.

I’m looking for any recommendations for an advent calendar for an adult (me).
I previously used Treatbox’s (not an ad, they are a very lovely company). But I found some of the advent gifts didn’t appeal to me or were useless. Some of the items were lovely though!

I’m looking for recommendations for any other ones I haven’t thought of or anything similar.

I’m not massively into beauty or nail polish, stationery would be ok, but maybe something more like a mix of items or socks, or even books?

I've had the Liberty calendar twice and that was lovely. The huge hotel chocolat one is also nice but neither meet your requirements.

This year I fancy the fortnums foodie one but also lurking here for other suggestions. 🎅

I troll my brother with them, when he was in the police he got a pork scratchings one.

I use IWOOT, Menkind and such, for nice ones I think the museums do some good ones, I've seen one with seeds for gardeners.

I have seen socks calendars too.

I never thought about fortnums actually. So thank you. I’ll def keep it in mind.

I am in two minds about whether to get the treatbox one again because it had lots of positive things but they work really hard on the box and I feel like someone else would appreciate it more

I bought my DD a Socks advent a couple of years ago ( QVC)

I like the look of the Holland and Barrett and I read along the threads about the M&S one but I've never bought one

I keep hinting for the Hotel Chocolat but no-one picks up on it <sigh> I'll need to just order one myself !
