We are going away this Christmas to be nearer to family, so can't do the usual mountain of tat full stockings plus gifts under the tree. Plus, I think DD(16) is probably a bit old for that
. So, I am trying to come up with an alternative plan. Not least as we are travelling via train and as I am a wheelchair user, luggage has to be really minimal.
I think she would be more than happy with cold hard cash, but I would like to try and be a bit more inventive. I was thinking of doing 16 numbered gifts, mainly as she is desperate to see the musical Six so will be getting her tickets for that. I also have managed to get the tickets for both parts of Harry Potter. So that is numbers 1 and 6 covered, but what about the rest? Budget is around £500 for everything, £100 of that has already gone on tickets, so have £400 left.
She loves musical theatre, classics, sailing etc.
