Christmas house, lights and afternoon tea

I'd like to do this end of November as an early Christmas treat. We've previously been to Blenheim which was amazing but I'm not convinced about the theme this year and it seems to have got super expensive so if I'm going to book it I want to be really excited for it. We've also been to Waddesdon which is also lovely. I've just seen that Blenheim are already open for booking so I'd like to get some ideas.

Anyone have any recommendations for something different with a display in the house, lights in the gardens and where you can book a christmas afternoon tea? We're in Herts, happy to travel a little bit but not more than 2 hours.

Is Chatsworth too far?. It was brilliant last Xmas.

It looks amazing but it's 2.5 hours away without the traffic and as my 3 kids like to drive us nuts in the car it's sadly probably too far.

It really was amazing, but yes, I agree too far with kids. Sorry 😞
