Ours has been a triumph this year. An absolute triumph. In my opinion and the opinion of at least one other person who has visited our house in the last two weeks. It is a little overloaded on the lower branches, courtesy of small-but-enthusiastic people, but I will be sorry to see it go.

Take it down on January 6th - not a day before or a day after!

Ours has been beautiful this year. Instead of buying overpriced motheaten thing from garden centre opposite we travelled a wee bit further this year and got one freshly cut from a pine forest - 7 ft tall, fresh and green, trimmed, lovely shape - for £12.

It's hardly dropped it was so fresh, so it will stay up a few more days.

I'm soooo sad it's all over - sniff.

Who won the Xmas tree comp??

Ours didn't go up until last Sunday so there is no way it's going down again before next Sunday!
