dh bought my some really comfy slippers what's worse, I really like them . I was delighted. I can barely remember the last time I owned a pair of slippers.
dd2 got a 1000 piece jigsaw - totally impossible for her, but, I hesitate to tell you this, but what the hell, I found myself spending most of Christmas Day and Boxing Day doing it. . whilst wearing my slippers.
best reaction was dd2 - total drama queen. dh and I had a kind of bet as to how early she would declare it the "worst Christmas ever". took til about 7.30 am. on discovering FC had failed on the Nintendo DS front. Fortunately she never really means stuff like that and spent the rest of the day happy as a pig in shit listening to "Don't leave" by Faithless on her ipod shuffle. wailing along, of course, and interspersed by manic grins and frequent declarations of "I love my ipod. Thankyou".
