So............. started throwing up about 9pm last night Carried on for most of the night and slept the majority of it on the bathroom floor (tis cool and near the loo). DH slept in with DS who wouldn't settle.

DD slept til 8.20am We gave her cough meds before bed and I think they knocked her out.

I have been wobbly all morning, finally feeling more human again. Turkey was off Luckily we had a cook from frozen pork thingy in the freezer.

Most loved gifts of the day:

DS - Bumblebee slippers

DD - Care bear lunch box that cost fifteen pounds more a tad more than I expected. Well worth every penny having seen her face.

Going to mum's in a bit so all that is subject to change when they see the wonders from Gran and Auntie Sparrow.

What with trip to hospital on Christmas Eve Eve with DS, still not wrapped Psycho family presents, but tis fine because we're seeing them tomorrow afternoon

oh dear Turkey y'day you mean?

Hope you are feeling better soon...not a nice day to be ill

Why was DS in hosp??????????????

whoops · 25/12/2007 17:22

Oh no Flame
S went into hospital last night with a respitory infection so my sister has been there for her dinner today

SnowMuchToBits · 25/12/2007 17:45

oh dear - well hope they enjoyed the things from mn

FlamesparodyOfAChristmasName · 25/12/2007 20:04

Nope, the turkey we intended to have for lunch today.

Snowmuch - the ark is one of the hits of the day

Whoops - any update? I feel mean whinging when things like that are happening.

DH has now got this bug, and is noisily dying. I would have more sympathy but he seems to manage to be ill and go home every year when we get to my mum's for Christmas tea I've lost the ability to believe even when it could quite likely be real.

So, have had to deal with hyped up DD, poorly DS, my gran who is making life hard for my mum by myself when I am exhausted from a lack of sleep last night.

Good thing is... I think I feel well enough for alcohol - bring on the wine!
