They are probably still knee deep in wrapping paper, sweet wrappers and in PJs so don't want visitors! Peek out your window to see if they really are in and out lol.

Yes, maybe they are in their P.J's and don't fancy anyone coming round. Try them later.

Tp be fair if it was us - we are all still in PJs. I am pottering between picking up all the discarded packaging and paper, checking on the duck in the oven, drinking champagneand watching DD with her toys. So probably not best time for visitors right now.

Your all probably right, theres nothing worse than being received in ones pj's!!!Just feeling all rejected due to things mentoned on my thread last night and using humour to get through it all.

I think your idea was lovely and well intentioned.....but...!! If it was MY house and you wanted to call, it would be covered in wrapping paper and new things lying around we would all be in pjs and stuff and probably stuffing our faces with croissants!! I would much prefer a visit from someone in the afternoon, with at least an hours notice!! Is that selfish???
I would be embarrasses about the mess to be honest!!

I get annoyed when anyone tries to interrupt me when I'm on MN!

Hope you didn't stress and ate the chocs and drank the cava
