can't get my kids to sleep!!!

santa will never get the bloody chance to (get in the loft) come at this rate

I know. I happen to know santa is very very tired and on his last legs and yet still I have one up and very, very high.

Also part of the dilemma is that santa can't afford to drum his fingers much longer and yet if he has another drink he might be a little noisy and incompetent when it comes to the big act of generosity.

tell them to try and stay awake for santa.. worked a treat. Said that to ds about 30 min ago and he is spark out now. lol

Now, I know that dd knows its not real, she's 12, but I really don't want her to actually catch us in the act of putting her stocking out! She's still wide awake, having watched Pirates on BBC1 and I really need to go to bed! Its going to be a very long night. Whos going to crack first? Me saying,oh fgs, here's your stocking or her pretending to be asleep for my benefit!

I am having the same problem. I keep trying to fill the bl**dy stockings and they keep asking has Santa been yet. Grrrr!!

I always thought it was a daft idea having the stockings on their beds.
