I don't believe in god or Jesus so not those, DH and I aren't getting each other presents so not presents but I am absolutely beside myself with joy to have 11 days off with my children and dh. So No 1 on your list is the best and most important thing about it for me.

1, 2, 3, then 4, in that order.

and this year, for the first time, I would add happy times with neighbours to that too. With eid, christmas, and orthodox christmas all so close together there is such a lovely atmosphere between everyone here at the mo. Lots of cake and sitting around gassing. Makes everyone feel special.

Watching the kids and dp's faces when they get their presents, and actually being able to spend longer than a few hours with them without having to rush off somewhere.
Im not religious, the food and drinks nice but 1 and 3 definetly.

PrincessSnowLife · 24/12/2007 10:15
