Christmas Pud help please - or shall I just murder my DH??

I have a bought Xmas pud - weighing just over 2lb or 950g - a luxury one from the Co-op. But...my DH has thrown out the cooking instructions!! I was feeling really organised but can not face another trip to the shops to peer at the back of other Xmas puds and we have our main Xmas meal tomorrow! Could anyone help please? Do I pierce the film and how long does it take to steam? Thank you and a merry Christmas to all!

I would allow 1 hour, quicker in pressure cooker can precook and put in microwave

I haven't got one - unless of course i get given one for Christmas - but that will be too late for our Xmas meal!

if murdering DH is a bit impractical tonight, given the amount you need to do, then why don't you do the next best thing and send him off to the shop to write new instructions which he will have to dutifully copy from similar pud? that should him
