I'm not involved in the cooking (thankfully!) but apparently the starter is a mushroom, brie and cranberry tartlet (recipe from an old Tesco vegetarian magazine) and then a nut roast (which will be an amalgamation of different recipes).

The meat eaters will be having duck.

We are having scrambled eggs, mushrooms, croisants and other bits.

And for supper a lentil soup with home made bread.

Can't be doing with stressing about it really. Thats what everyone likes (and my kids are little-2 and 4) . And would rather spend the day playing with the kids than faffing with cooking, and worse still, cleaning up afterwards. And I don't especially want to do some sort of ready meal made by 15 year old slave labourers in somewhere far away...

Also, my kids can make scrambled eggs themselves ....
