Well I managed to sneak upstairs and get, oh about 3 present swrapped before the Dses decided they wanted me urgently

They are 9 and7 FFS. Their Dad is in the house, watching Polar Express with them. So i sneak upstairs to wrap some rpesents, thinking they wouldn't notice. Huh, how worng was I. they "needed" a drink, or a biscuit, or somesuch thing. Why can;'t they ask their dad. I ahve told DH he will ened to take the DSes out tomorrow for at least an hour so I can get it finished, I am not wrapping up presents on Christmas Eve.

stick them in the bath... I did that with DS tonight and told him to keep swimming for a while!

He loved it, I got peace (was in bedroom right next door) long enough to wrap the few I had left to do!

Alternitively, tell them that the elves are asking you to wrap because they are SO busy and will collect them that evening... DS totally fell for that line too!
