go on then - how much did your christmas food shop cost and what did you forget?!

got to sainsburys this morning at 7.30am and had the last space in the car park and the last trolley!

3 hours later and i am £150 lighter!

and i forgot the bagels for breakfast on xmas day... will have to send dh out on monday

oh and forgot nothing and there is 4 adults and 3 children for christmas dinner.

oh and that includes a fortnights shopping (excluding milk, fresh milk and bread) and I have 5 dc.

4 bottles of wine is the only alchohol.

Forgot pickled onions

£157, not including lamb from m&s (not having turkey), couldnt buy any alcohol as it was 7 am yesterday morning oh and its only me dp and ds 8 months

According to dh £180, incl turkey, roast for yesterday, crackers and batteries, and which should last us until Thursday at least. All paid for in vouchers Need teabags, milk and fresh bread.

My Tesco order arrived yesterday £150 including wipes, nappies and formula but............... I'd already spent £160 plus in M and S and on cheeses, chocs, biscuits etc plus £35 to the butcher for the turkey and bacon. Yikes for one day! My Tesco order did include normal food except Petit Filous for my fussy DDs

Will I brave another shop?
