A free range turkey!
DH pipes up this morning
'I'm picking up the turkey tomorrow, what do you want to do with it?'
? What turkey?
Seems he forgot to tell me one of his customers had ordered him a free range fresh turkey months ago...onyl problem is, we are going to his mums for christmas, she already has one, and we don't have any room in teh freezer to store one, so I had to find someone to take it.
Have rung round all my friends, (starting with the least disorganised) but everyone has a turkey, until one girl, who was engaged when I tried to ring her earlier, rang back. She is pregnant with a toddler and bad morning sickness, lives out in the middle of the countryside and she was stressing about having to shop later!
Am now full of Christmas good feeling!
