Weather is miserable, avoiding indoor activities like cinema/bowling etc due to covid* . We’ve been at home for days. I’m bored. 2 primary age DC. What can we do?

(*I don’t want this to be a covid thread - we live in London, we’re seeing older relatives on NYD and want to keep our risk down.)

Boardgames with snacks, my two love them!

Plan for special sleepovers, my kids love sleeping downstairs, such a novelty.

Dance party? Turn off lights apart from Christmas ones and have a dance to some music.

I'm near London and the weather is no where near bad enough to keep me inside with my two (energetic) DC Grin

Do you have any woods near you? I don't mind walking in the woods in light rain, the trees keep you dry-ish

My mood was low today so l made sure l got outdoors, the weather was damp and gloomy, l walked around the lake, and when l got back l forced myself to do abit of walk running on the treadmill, for me exercise is the only thing that shifts my mood. l didn't feel much like doing it, but l did feel better after.
I find the time between xmas and new year abit strange, like we' re in some kind of limbo.
