Etiquette on what to take for an early evening 'christmas drink' - help!!

It's a chap who's 60 + and has invited DH & I with our 1 year old DD over for a drink on sunday night at 6pm. We'll be there for an hour max because of her bed time. What should we take??

Thoughts are a small box of homemade gingerbread biscuits / pistachio fudge as stolen from another thread!!
