Argh! It's too late isn't it. Can I save them? I was trying to get it all ready for tomorrow and it was going so well!

Once you glaze them no one will notice.

Growuppeople · 24/12/2021 16:18

Why do you need to peel them?

PlanktonsComputerWife · 24/12/2021 16:19

They taste so much better skin on.

Tessellation · 24/12/2021 16:20

Do you think I can get away with it? I don't peel potatoes but I've never not peeled parsnips... But now reading your responses I'm not sure why...

I'm going to taste one now!

Funny isn't it.

I I don't peel potatoes but I always peel carrots.

AwkwardPaws27 · 24/12/2021 16:25

I never peel them and they are great.

CointreauVersial · 24/12/2021 16:26

As long as you washed them they'll be fine.

Tessellation · 24/12/2021 16:27

Thank you everyone. I now feel slightly ashamed of creating high levels of drama around two bags of parsnips...

Will you just reheat them tomorrow? Is that ok? Always looking for ways to reduce stress on Christmas Day.

Tessellation · 24/12/2021 16:42

Yes - I did it this way last year (with peeled parsnips tho) and it worked really well. I've only partially roasted everything so putting it back in tomorrow just really crisps it up but yes indeed saves so much stress.

Roasted the parsnips ready for tomorrow?

Jamie never peels his, or his carrots. You’ll be fine.
