My "baby" in on the plane and its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

My "baby" (age 18) is on the plane and I and her big brother are aboit to set off to go collect her. Last year she spent Christmas in Denmark as not able to come home.
I cant wait to wrap my arms around her..

Christmas finally feels like it will happen in 2021

Unfortunately the loved I want to see the most, can't come home. Mum passed away a few weeks ago

Mine is flying in Christmas Day! (Much cheaper flights and schools don’t close until Christmas Eve, except now they have due to Covid.) Have a lovely Christmas.

We got back about 10 days ago.
It was so nice to hug my brothers and my Dad for the first time in nearly two years. My sister arrived a couple of days ago but we won't see her till next week.

I'm off to the station in an hour or so for my 'baby', too.

SiL is out in australia & has been able to come back in ages.

We will really miss her on saturday, got BiL and the PiL coming to ours and it will feel like there's a big SiL shaped hole at the table.

Yes wrapped her in a hug and took a really big deep sniff inhaling the smell of my baby never gets old. I've hugged her 4 times so far and she is putting up with it. (She is not a huggy type )

The dog was besides himself with excitement when he saw her.

What a lovely thread this is . It’ll be online to DD and her family on Christmas Day, but just booked flights for DH, DS and myself to be with them in Cyprus for Easter 2022.
