Oh, I forgot, magnetic wands also for their stockings after reading a list of 'useful things for stockings'

We totally twitched today and got DD some threading pictures where you thread colourful strings.

Nursery happened to mention that she'll sit there for an hour doing it so we thought a last minute stocking filler twitch might help the 10 days off nursery.

I'm allowed to twitch as you eat DCs have birthdays in January so can technically save it until then if it gets too much. I've already started twitching into the January sales!

I’ve now gone and searched for these and seen that Amazon has them next day delivery. Do I dare get them for toddler DD?

@StruggleStreet my DD was 2.4 last Christmas. We found a threading set in a charity shop on Christmas Eve and it was her favourite present. She sat next to me, us both threading a figure each (her set has a rabbit, bear, duck and kitten). go for it.

@PineappleWilson ooh, okay I’m definitely getting them now! I can see her really enjoying them and it’ll hopefully be good for keeping her occupied while I feed the baby.
But that it’s now, no more twitching after this! 😂

I bloody twitched and bought DS a Nintendo Switch after being adamant he was too young/it was too expensive. I'm rubbish at dealing with mother guilt

I counted all the kids presents and realised one had one more present than the others so bought the other two another one each. Now I think about it I could have said one for his birthday in a few weeks

Right that was my last trip to Lidl. The final twitch was a watercolour set for DD11 and a plywood Star Wars X-Wing fighter model kit for her dad.

I solemnly swear I will twitch no more this Christmas. Mainly because my budget just ran out 😂
