I'm a woman of simple needs. I like my fashion jewellery, I like a good book to read, I like my garden, but still they can't get their act together! We only spend a few quid on each other, how hard can it be?

This morning DH has said, 'I just don't know what to get you. I looked at perfume, but I don't know what you've got already. I walked into Accessorize and walked out again - full of woman! (no shit!) I was going to buy you some new boots, but I wasn't sure if you'd like the ones I like.'(probably looked in Ann Summers!)

DD is now showing me certain pages in the Argos book and asking my opinion of various things! I give up, really I do!

I gave up long ago and now supply a list with places to buy said items and even pictoral links! No surprises left but stops the moaning.

Ditto in this house!

we have a budget of £10 each for dh and myself. i have managed to buy him a book, shirt, origami kit and some sweets. dh keeps on do i want this or that? NO i just want you to go shopping and think for yourself for a change! MEN!

you have to give him a list of things to choose from!

YEah, I guess I will have to do a list. I might as well do the shopping myself though. The money all comes from the same account, so its not like he's going to give me any money anyway!
