Just found out we can't give her the present we were going to get her as she has bought them herself already! (Solar stake lights for her garden)

So, she's 73, loves gardening and has a big garden. I'd like to get her something for the garden really £50 ish but can go higher

Any ideas??? Please and thank you for any suggestions

I bought my mother a garden bench this year, I struggled to think of a present but she enjoys her garden and her bench has slowly been falling to bits for years.

Or maybe a bird feeder for her garden?

Does she have an outdoor clock? About £20-£30 from garden centres.

Someone bought me a lovely pot for the garden that would have been more expensive than those I'd buy for myself.

Bird-table or bird bath

Sundial

Scarby9 · 21/12/2021 15:40

Bird bath was a big success for my mum.
As were:
Sundial
Ready planted pots
Large dandilion clock type solar light (more like a sculpture than just lights)

Metalbirds. We have bought two for the gardening loving in-laws when they were on sale for 2 for £70 I think.

A garden mirror

Oh thank you! Maybe a bird bath or the sundial

Subscription to gardeners World magazine or similar... Or subscription to national trust so she can go see other gardens?
Tickets for Wisley?

I garden a lot , and regardless of how many I have had bought , I always love really good gardening gloves - £50 will get you a really good pair

The metal birds are gorgeous... I have my fingers crossed Santa is bringing me a second one!!

I was going to suggest a metalbird too. I’ve bought one for my garden-loving parents too!

Fancy hanging basket bracket(s) from here:

I bought my dad one for his birthday, went down really well, and excellent quality.
Hopefully photos will attach!
