Anybody else hosting Christmas dinner and hasn't bought or ordered any food yet?

They'll be 8 of us. I'm sure it will be fine. Going to start planning this afternoon.

Visited Lidl, Iceland, Waitrose and M & S yesterday and all well stocked- got everything I needed- you'll be fine I'd say!

DH bought the meat and I bought the frozen peas yesterday, I'll probably buy the fresh vegetables today.

It'll be fine! I've got nibbles for starters and a turkey on order but everything else will be a dawn raid on the supermarket tomorrow or Thursday.

I was in Aldi yesterday and it was well stocked with everything.

I'm not hosting as go to family.

So I did a big shop at weekend to get me through until after Xmas (batch cooked etc too).

I figured it would be kinder to those needing to shop and host if supermarket wasn't full of those who didn't have the hassle!

I will need to buy some staple basics (bread and milk) but I'll do that at 5am one day when ds is swim training!

I've ordered the meat but that's about it! Going to tackle Morrisons tomorrow or Thursday!

We weren’t but now we are due to change in plans. DH will be doing a food shop this evening or tomorrow morning!
