Activities to do with 6 year old

My little nephew is in hospital with with a virus (not Covid) and his big sister who's nearly 6 is coming here today while her Daddy gets some last minute Christmas jobs done.
I want to do something Christmassy with her. She's coming to bake on Thursday so not that.
Any ideas? Cheap and cheerful please!

Watching a Christmas movie
Making some saltdough ornaments (can be then painted on Thursday)

I'd choose energy release activities over xmassy, DD is 7 and is hugely excited about Xmas which means she is needing to do something very active to release some of the energy.

You could go to the park or swimming. There would be plenty of time round that to do a Xmas related craft like making cards or tree ornaments (angel from a toilet roll for example).

Walk to spot Christmas lights? Agree with releasing energy so park trip? Is there anywhere near you that has a Christmas trail or anything (I don’t mean one that costs loads of money but more the kind where it’s £1 for a map and there’s fun things to spot etc) Good luck!

Does she come to your house often? She might be happy just looking around for a long time!

If not then go to a nearby park, or bake or do drawing together. Telly if all else fails!

My DD is 5, currently she loves making cards so your niece might like making cards for her family or get well soon card for sibling in hospital? Made out of any old thing!

Does she know how to make paper snowflakes? (Fold and cut a circle of paper)

Thanks for the suggestions so far. We have a few present drop offs this morning so she's going to be my elf lol. I've checked with my sister and she knows Santa doesn't bring everything so we're not spoiling any magic.
I may well get the craft box out this afternoon...
