Bloody DS’s main present won’t arrive in time!

I ordered it 2 weeks ago, it wasn’t sent straight away due to made to order, and due to high demand was only sent on Thurs last week… plenty of time with Parcel Force 48! Only I’ve been tracking it and obvs they don’t deliver on the weekend but for some reason the parcel has been sitting in sorting depot since Friday. It then finally updated an hour ago to say that it’s damaged and has been sent back to sender!! FFS!!!

He’s 12, so won’t be the end of world but it’s really annoying!

Happened to me last year ordered a laptop for ds they sent it to Manchester I don't live anywhere near Manchester then they sent it to Oldbury I don't live near there either it actually showed up Christmas eve

Can the vendor send you a new one now?

Nor will DD’s. I’ve got her a small but thoughtful “decoy” present. I’ve told her her main present won’t arrive in time, she’s ok about it. I suspect t she’ll try and spin Christmas out until it does!

I have emailed the vendor but I doubt they can make another in time… hoping it’s just the box that’s damaged and they can resend same product

Yeah, I guess it means christmas is extended…which he’ll like, but doubt his 8yr old sis will! 😬

If you're worried about 8 yr old dd, could you hold back one of her smaller gifts until his arrives so they both get a late gift? Maybe make it a new years eve one or something?

Yeah, that’s a good idea!

Although I’ve just had a reply from the vendor saying they will arrange to build and send another for tomorrow under 24hr service, so fingers crossed!
