Urgent gift help for mid 20s sister!

I bought my sister a Hotel Chocolate Velvetiser for Christmas, but she has just discovered that she is lactose intolerant 🤦‍♀️ You could not make this up! Whilst she can use alternative milks, the chocolate sachets themselves are obviously unsuitable.

I have no idea what to get her now. I have a budget of approx £100 and barely any time to get her something. She is very special to me and she is great at giving thoughtful gifts.

Any bright ideas would be so much appreciated. She has no children, she likes to travel (when permitted) and loves cooking.

A velvetiser is still a lovely gift, it just needs lactose free hot chocolate. I’m lactose intolerant, and would be over the moon with a velvetiser, especially if the giver had been thoughtful enough to include hot chocolate I could use.

I use lactose free milk, and eat 85% or higher chocolate which should be fine for her. They do have very high % chocolate sachets, so maybe just get those? There is no dairy in the 85%. She can always just add a bit of sweetener if she'd like it sweeter since the 85% is richer and has less sugar in it. They also do a 100%

Hotel Chocolat have 100% dark chocolate, which could be added to alternative milk, and they are introducing a free from range in the new year.

Oh brilliant, I shall search for lactose free hot chocolate. I had assumed it could only be used with the Hotel Chocolat pouches. Thank you a million thank yous!

Le crueset (I’m not cultured enough to know the spelling sorry 🤣🤣) cookware. They do all sorts of colours so get get some cookware from there in her favourite colour

You are all incredible, thank you! I can let her know about the free from range which is coming too. I feel so relieved; thank you.

You can also make lovely milky coffees (non dairy milk) using it too

Lots of the pouches are marked as suitable for vegans if you look at the ingredients se ruins on the website, including the fancy flavours like ginger, hazelnut etc. I’m now seriously thinking about getting one 🤣

Hotel Chocolat also do a vegan nutmilk chocolate for the velvetiser if she prefers a lighter hot chocolate, bought for my vegan wife.

*ingredients section (bad typing in all my excitement at the lactose free velvetiser options!)

Okay my two biggest loves are travel and cookery too., so this is an easy one for me.

I'd be extremely happy with any decent quality kitchen gadget or accessory I don't have and any beautiful cookbook I don't have. Seriously, 100 quid spent just on a variety of well chosen cookbooks would be my dream gift.

A really high quality kitchen knife or two.

A regional cookbook or two, with associated whole spices or niche ingredients to start her off with, and maybe a little electric spice grinder?

Or a great themed cookbook (let's use Indian as an example) with some associated ingredients or gadgets like a range of whole spices with an electric spice grinder?

A great book on great cities/islands/countries to visit. Actually I've seen books which focus on travel and food together. Best foodie destinations of the world/Europe etc.

Some beautiful quality cocktail glasses and a shaker, maybe a cocktail book as well.

sorry suggested the same thing twice there!
