I have a seal. Don't you?

KittyLetteItSnow · 19/12/2007 13:12

Get monogramed stickers to seal the back ...

or wax and a stamp, very regal

I think it just shows you're getting on in years. Harks back to the days when, if you wanted to pay second class for a card postage, you HAD to leave the envelope open. If it was sealed, it was first class.

Don't you have a little man who does that sort of thing for you?

CremolaFirCone · 19/12/2007 13:15

you lick them if there are goingin the post
you tuck them in with no licking if they are\hand delivered.
so says my mum and
'she is always right'

KittyLetteItSnow · 19/12/2007 13:16

Yes. Cards were never sealed down when I was a kid, otherwise you had to pay first class. (I am quite a bit old (ish) {grin])

God, that went wrong!
