Was scrolling through the music on my iPad and came across Billy Idol’s Happy Holiday cd. This was recommended on a thread last year.

What Christmas albums do you like, other than Michael Buble and Michael Ball?

Jamie Cullum’s ‘The Pianoman at Christmas’ is worth listening too.

Ella Fitzgerald

Tracey Thorn- Tinsel and Lights

Puppini sisters album is fun.

Lots of Chanticleer albums have a Christmas theme.

Hogwood Messiah is the one that marks the start of Christmas for me.

New Kathryn Williams/Carol Ann Duffy album out this year- Midnight Chorus. I've only heard parts of it so far but have really liked it.

Kacey Musgraves, A Very Kacey Christmas.

CoolShoeshine · 16/12/2021 19:19

There’s a really good Annie Lennox album - A Christmas Cornucopia I think it’s called.

GrouchyKiwi · 16/12/2021 19:20

Josh Groban - Noel
Emmy-Lou Harris - Light of the Stable
Bing Crosby (I realise this is obvious, but it's old-fashioned now. Still one of the best Christmas albums ever.)
Annie Lennox - Christmas Cornucopia
Diana Krall - Christmas Songs

Thank you for mentioning the Annie Lennox album @CoolShoeshine and @GrouchyKiwi. had completely forgotten about that one.

@ChristmasRobins - have now listened to Tracy Thorn and really enjoyed it, and have started listening to Stfjan Stevens @Winterlude

Will work through the others. Thanks for the recommendations.
