What shall I have for Christmas dinner?

Having Christmas at home this year, just 3 of us. DH and 4yo DS.

DH is an unadventurous vegetarian, DS a fairly picky eater- he knows what he likes and doesn't yet like to try new things, despite lots of encouragement.

I'm neither veggie nor fussy, I love food!

Can't really be doing with the faff of making 3 different meals, but I can't think of anything we will all enjoy.

Ideas & inspiration please!Xmas Grin

What about a quorn roast for the DH and a small Turkey crown for you and DD, then all the other usual trimmings.

Or if you fancy something different Lidl have a 3 fish roast that we really enjoyed last year.

I'd get a nice M and S ready meal or Tesco finest and choose something I would really enjoy. And let DH sort out himself and DC.

I agree with @MyOtherProfile. I wouldn't be tying myself in knots catering for unadventurous and fussy people. Let DH make something for him and DS and you get yourself something simple and really treaty.

I'd go for one of the seafood platters, some good bread and a bottle of fizz.

What does DH suggest? If he will only eat a limited range of food, he needs to do the thinking.

MyOtherProfile · 14/12/2021 07:43

I'd pick the same @BarbaraofSeville
