DH is keen to get some merino lounge wear, as he hates being too hot/too cold but the only things I can find are ski base layers. Can anyone recommend something less ski-like and more casual? I've got him some lovely merino socks with a fairisle pattern and seen a hoody in Reiss but it's £98.

The second present I'm really stuck for is for my friend who's really into Marvel. He religiously goes to the first showings of the films, has watched all the spin offs. He's difficult to buy for so I've latched on to it as an idea but although I like Marvel I'm not a mega fan so don't know what's a good themed present and what's not!

Any help gladly appreciated!

for merino T-shirts try Rohan
not super cheap, but quality still seems ok

What's the budget for marvel? There is a lego thanos gauntlet.

Or a marvel t shirt? Can get an iron man one with his chest plate on it.

My husband is into the marvel and DC and I occasionally get the the official art of the film books. They go down really well and some are now worth quite a bit as they’re a limited print run

These are all brilliant suggestions thank you so much, just going to have a proper look at them all.

For Merino, Howies used to do T-shirt styles and have lasted us well. Dilling are excellent. Lindex usually do a small but economical range each year- not sure about mens. Seagale do Merino/tencel blends, but I haven't tried them yet. Cambridge Baby are a good UK stockist of various brands (mostly German) although not cheap.

Icebreaker have some I think, but they are hideously expensive even when on sale!

Book is slightly cheaper on amazon.

Does your friend who likes Marvel wear any clothing with it on? T-shirts, jumpers, PJs etc There is lots about - TruffleShuffle, Amazon, George at Asda, Disney. That's my go-to for DH - he's getting a Deadpool Hoodie for Christmas.

Dilling is excellent for merino clothing
