Gift ideas for Childminder

I'm really stuck on Christmas gift ideas for our childminders. Husband and wife team, super lovely. They've been looking after our son since July. Ashamed to say I don't really know what they like/dietary requirements etc so would love some ideas!

Cash bonus?

Our childminder loves home baked goods so I make her a Christmas cake most years, then give a bottle of fizz and a plant. I have no idea if that's usual!

Why not ask for their favourite drink and buy a bottle of that?

Hi, when I was childminding I used to get restaurant vouchers, cinema vouchers, bottles of wine , and they always got my own kids a little something as well .

Vouchers for something local they’ll use if they’re a family eg nearby dinner out.

My childminder is single and kids grown up. I’ve bought her some super luxe toiletries this year. Budget a bit more than a day’s fee.

I just bought our childminder a copper bee bath and seed bombs, her and her husband like spending time in the garden.

I make a little hamper with wine, a candle, chocolate, Busch it’s, maybe a little Xmas cake or Xmas pudding.

That meant to say biscuits!!

DH and I gave a large cash bonus before.
