how old are your dcs?

Ive bought the small one for dd (age 1)
think they recommend the large for 3-5 year olds.

(cant help on leg measurements though!)

Oh my dd(3)adores these but I didn't get her one as I thought the little one was too small, had no idea there were big ones. Can't spend£60 now as I've finished Xmas she'd have adored it she'll probably be too old next year-sniff!!!!

TheOriginalXENA · 18/12/2007 19:55

ahh milamae- maybe her birthday?

I've been planning one of these for Ds4s 1st brithday since he was about 2 week sold...

he'll be one in a few weeks so now I can choose which one

tassisssss · 18/12/2007 19:58

get the big one

it does say 3-5 on it, but dd got it for her 1st birthday. She loved it from the start, pushed it about for about 6 weeks but then could sit on it. Ds (4.8) adores it too.

TheOriginalXENA · 18/12/2007 20:34

oooh ladyth, new ones are coming out after christmas.

Tassissssss, can you dd ride it yet?

They are showing as a months delivery atm. There is a tiger coming and another one I can't remember.
Am thinking mouse for DD2 and cow for DS2.

I am excited because I bought the mouse one online last night!! They look super fab .

Even though my dd is 10 months, I chose the large size. I read lots of threads about it and decided that it would last longer and she could use it as a walker for now (I can't see her sitting upright on it yet ).

Use the search function to read past MN threads.

I got a small mouse for dd2's 1st birthday in June. In the past month she has been able to sit on it and ride it. She'd never manage the big one - her legs only just reach the ground on the small one. Dd1 who is nearly 4 rides it 2. Perhaps I have very small children

LadyTophamHatt · 19/12/2007 16:27

I LOVE the cow one....

I think Ds4 wil be getting that one, his big bro's will push him around on it until hi sfeet reach the floor

have you got a link to the new ones Xena, I look ed last night but could only find the old one.

tassisssss · 19/12/2007 22:24

Xena, she's 15 months and can "ride" it as much as she can ride any other wee ride on IYKWIM, so she sits on it and sort of rocks and often goes backwards and sometimes goes forwards!

She does have a wee trike thing that's a bit lower (so maybe the height of a small bug?) and she has the same success in getting it to go forwards!

IMO unless you have really wee children I'd go straight to the large.

FWIW we have a bee and it's very nice!

EachPeachPearMum · 19/12/2007 23:37

I just wrapped the large bee for my dd (will be 2 in feb)- it will be fine, though she is tallish. Only ordered it sunday but it arrived today (48 hr delivery)
