Lynx for his older brother, but what would I get for an 8-year old boy...? I got Harry Potter before but he's not really into HP

I got mine son a captain america one when he was about 6 ish. He still wears it.

I think there are 'sporty' type fragrances like Adidas etc but I dont know what these smell like.

Sprig1 · 09/12/2021 22:17

Mine loves bath bombs that turn the water a funny colour and mould able soap in a spray can.

There are a few Spiderman toiletries in Wilko, such as this www.wilko.com/en-uk/spiderman-fizzing-bath-slime-150g/p/0513585

Star Wars and Marvel in B&M.

I can’t think of any 8 year old that would like smellies to be honest
I’d just buy some sweets

cultkid · 10/12/2021 10:10

My son who's 5 likes all sorts of sprays and perfumes

He has one from Next that he really likes

They come in fun boxes.

If you want a smell you'll enjoy maybe try Nenuco or Bvlgari (I know it's expensive) really nice smells

WildStallyn · 10/12/2021 10:10

My 8 year old likes smellies! He likes Scrubbingtons, it's really nice quality plus he's outfeowing character stuff now.

Next had a nice space themed set.
I was thinking about getting it for my 9 Yr old. He loves bath bombs, hair gel and things like that.

HandScreen · 10/12/2021 20:33

Why on earth would you get an 8 year old smellies?

Festivesugarplum · 10/12/2021 20:39

Superdrug do some great sets

RightOnTheEdge · 10/12/2021 21:18

Why on earth would you get an 8 year old smellies?
Because the OP as the OP has already said he loves them and wants some? Confused
Why on earth do you care what she buys her own child?

OopsadayZ · 10/12/2021 21:34

Good grief! Why do people have to police what others are buying for their kids?! I'm not suggesting buying him crack cocaine!

Some weird comments on here! Even my 4 year old loves smellies like bath bombs, colour changing bubble bath, we even got some rainbow bath sand in home bargains, it goes in the bath but we haven’t tried it yet

Pinkflipflop85 · 10/12/2021 22:16

My 7 year old loves a bath bomb!

Bananaman123 · 10/12/2021 22:24

Bomb cosmetics do good boy gift sets, also lush do play soap this time of year. I've also bought my nephew a cheap bottle of police eau de toilette as he wants to be grown up like his brother. Refuses to wear pj's now and only boxers like his brother so we got him some kids CK boxers

bluechilli47 · 10/12/2021 22:28

Soap and soap company do great Shark bath bombs

Matey bubble bath, a soap on a rope and bath cubes were a staple in children's stockings when I was young, so it's not exactly a new concept to buy toiletries for youngsters. We have more variations on the theme these days is all.

Boots always have nice sets and novelties for younger ones and teens.

Junobug · 11/12/2021 08:47

My 9 year old got scrubbingtons last year which was a nice inbetween compromise when they have grown out of characters . I have bought them a joint solid bubblebath this year and really like that shark bath bomb but can't justify the postage on one item.
