Best headphones for a 9yo....

I don't want to spend a fortune but my 9yo broke his last pair of headphones so these need to be robust or cheap enough.....

he wears them for music, audio books and gaming. Mostly Plugged into laptop or an iPad. But Bluetooth would be good.

Any recommendations much appreciated!!

Following as also looking for headphones for my 9 yo. Most of the kids ones I’m seeing look a bit babyish but not sure if adult ones would be too big!

Not cheap but Puro Sounds makes really lovely volume limited headphones for kids. They are pretty robust too. My son's are still going strong two years on.

Thanks for the rec. How old is your child & what do they use them for?

We just get the Gummy ones from Tesco for about £8. At 9 they’re rough with them and lose them easily. I wouldn’t buy an expensive pair.

DD got these last year when she was 10 Anker Soundcore Life Q20 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones and you have the option of wired or Bluetooth. They are really robust. I wanted noise cancelling so you could get a non noise cancelling for cheaper?

He was 10 when he got them, almost 13 now. He mostly uses them when he's on Roblox with his cousin in the States and when he's watching really annoying gamers on YouTube so I don't have to hear them. They were also handy for school stuff during lockdown.
