Please could someone recommend wireless earphones / earbuds for a teen girl (ideally pastel green!)
I have no idea what I’m doing, and am baffled by them!

Do you know if she prefers earbuds, the over-the-ear type, or bone conductors?

Adirondack · 08/12/2021 23:10

@AuntieStella she wants the little wireless ones that sit in your ear. No wires and no headband. Ideally she’d like AirPods but they are way too much money!

AirPods are about the best - it's a shame you can't stretch to them. There are various on Amazon though - look at tozo green ear phones and they'll probably fit the bill

I've had a pair of these for a couple of years which I like

You can get the later models in white and with the stick bit if that's important

I've never tried an airpod so can't comment on how they compare.

You really don’t need air buds and they’re stupidly overpriced. I got some from Robert Dyas which are brilliant! (Though not green). I’ll try and find a link

Here we are, though I think I paid £20.

My ds12 had some last year from aldi for £20 and he loves them

My sister got my nephew some similar from tesco for £15

My daughter got these red ones recently and works well for about £26. My son is getting the Bose for Christmas - starting around £175 depending on colour, though I notice the black is now £75 more than what I paid Black Friday!

What's your budget?

These are decent www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VPX4W35?linkCode=ogi&th=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

Not sure about colours but Anker are superb. We've had various products from them over the years and they are great quality and last.

I've got Huawei ones from Amazon - earbuds with stick ike Air pods. These are the only ones where they stay in my ears

Thanks all! I managed to get a pair that are rose gold from a company called Mixx. Fingers crossed they will meet the brief!!

Scull candy are good but Dd has some mint ones that look like AirPods but were £35 from Skinnydip. They’re great.

MissCruellaDeVil · 19/12/2021 00:15

What is your budget? You can buy the last generation AirPods for £119 so not as much as a hardship.
I have some from SkullCandy that I use for the gym, the sound quality isn't as great as my AirPods, but they were only £40 and have 12 hours of battery life.

Depending on the size and shape of the case they come in, you could always just buy a mint green headphone case skin for them like this one amzn.to/3GWSPS0.

I think that's for first gen AirPods. But Amazon will have lots of others
