Following on from the disappointing BM shower steamers mentioned above what brand / type would people recommend. Just realised that they would make a great wee gift for a friend. Anything a bargain price even better.

I've tried lots. All rubbish. Might be ok if you have a small shower cubicle in a tiny bathroom maybe?

@MeredithGreyishblue thanks for your honest assessment of shower steamers the friend I’m think of has just a bathtub shower, even though she spends ages in it, so probably won’t work very well. I’ll have another think for a Christmas gift.

I’m having issues with deliveries/orders My Black Friday vacuum cleaner purchase from Shark has not turned up after 3 weeks and the tracking hasn’t updated either. Shark are looking into it but in the meantime I’m over £200 with no hoover for weeks.

My Sweetzy order has just turned up today, one item broken and 2 missing things from the delivery so not happy with them either! Waiting for an email back after I sent photos etc.

@Blueberryflavour I have had the shower steamers from here. No bargains I’m afraid but I can definitely recommend them. I haven’t had any others to compare to mind. One of them had a crystal inside which I think is a nice touch.

@Peabody25 and @kingat thank you for the scooters info!! Just working out now whether I have a spare £50 to spend on that one from Smyths. (I mean I think it's a very reasonable price, but I'd already pretty much spent up to budget on him before this last minute request...!)

As a result of my investigations, I can report that Argos have savings of up to 1/3 on toys and savings on some scooters, although not the one I need, of course...

Tablet Key ring Glasses cloth Fake ice cubes (I don't t know what to call them - you freeze then use in drinks, reuse etc. popular with people who like cold but not diluted drinks)

Can anyone recommend some roller skates? They are for my 5 year old daughter but they must not be pink apparently! And I want the adjustable ones really so they will last longer. Anyone bought any decent ones? There are so many I'm finding it overwhelming! Thankyou.

@chorusline79 I'd really recommend SRF skates. They do adjustable ones and have clip fastening (like ski boots) so very easy to get on and off.

Lots of places sell them but it's also worth a look on Facebook Marketplace. There's often new/ nearly new skates listed.
