Title because the last one’s nearly used up and I haven’t got time to do my usual picking of a title, sorry.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@endlesscraziness Lidl had a soft toy parrot coming next week that repeats back what you say to it. My 7yr old that last year and still has a giggle with it - maybe with a pirate hat etc as well. Depends what “stuff” means to your dd I suppose.

herestoyoucolinrobinson · 09/12/2021 15:14

Is anyone else having trouble with hermes? I mean more than usual. I'm waiting for a couple of things and they just don't seem to be doing anything.

torthecatlady · 09/12/2021 15:18

@herestoyoucolinrobinson In work we use a number of different couriers and it's been getting steadily worse over the last few weeks.

Ack- my daughter has added pirate stuff to her Santa letter. She's 8 so I'm not really sure what would work. Any ideas????
Could you draw a pirate map leading to…

A wooden treasure chest filled with chocolate coins and jewellery

A bubble sword

A make your own pirate map kit

Pirate bath bombs and bubble bath

This fossil filled chest is amazing: Pirates Treasure Chest - Crammed with Gemstones, Pearls and Jewels! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01FMH7E7W/ref=cmswwrcppapiglttfabc1PPB8RSGJWMRFQAMXHYX??encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Where abouts in the country are you? I can't find them anywhere
Unihorn · 09/12/2021 15:50

I ordered a coat with Regatta on Monday 29th; it took a week to dispatch and Hermes have only just received it today. No sign of it leaving their distribution centre yet. Not an ideal time to be without a warm coat either, more fool me for not just buying a non-barganious coat.

BunnyBerries · 09/12/2021 16:29

@herestoyoucolinrobinson

Yes! Been waiting for two things from Hermes that have been on their tracking dispatched for over a week! What's going on?

VividImaginationAgain · 09/12/2021 16:47

I think there may have been a discount code for Sheepers many threads back but I can’t find it (and may have been imagining it). Does anyone have anything? I quite fancy a pair!

Baby car seat
Can anyone please recommend a suitable car seat- looking for our next car seat as DS has just turned 1. Just seems a mammoth task to decide on which to buy in terms of make but also durability. He’s come after many years ( older siblings are way into teenagehood )so it just feels like am doing everything for the first time. Please help with suggestions of especially if you have one you have used and can recommend. Thanks

BarryBob77 · 09/12/2021 18:43

I’ve had a last minute request for an etch a sketch as in the old fashioned one with the knobs. Amazon have one but it’s £35! Anyone know of a way to get it cheaper?

@Mumcube the Axkid minikid is fantastic. It's extended rear facing until around age 6 which is safest and has met all the higher safety testing. I bought mine from Margaret at rear facing toddlers, she's extremely knowledgeable and will talk you through everything
Araisaris · 09/12/2021 18:48

@Mumcube my one hint would be to try to get one that swivels. It was a godsend when they’re throwing a tantrum and you’re trying to wrangle them in to the car seat.
