So, she's 15. But has no real interests beyond her phone & netflix! I have t brought her a hoodie from UO as that is her favourite shop, but thats it.
She is not into makeup, and doesnt have (or want) pierced ears. Has no need of any tech stuff. Doesnt read or play any sport. Her life at the mo consists of school/homework & netflix, and she seems quite ok with that. She doesnt want any bedroom upgrades as she loves the stuff she already has. I thought about a velevtiser but she doesn't drink hot choc & we have a coffee machine that takes hit choc capsules anyway. Her list just had a UO voucher on it.
I have read through all the teenage threads on here & am still stuck!

Just get her the UO voucher and maybe some food gifts (her favourite chocolate, American or Japanese sweets, bubble tea?).

My dd hasn’t asked for much either, she’s getting a Pokemon game for the switch, Amazon fire sticks and a oodie (fake), I have bulked it up with food gifts….kinder selection box from B&M, packet of pop tarts etc..

My DD is getting the following- split between Christmas and her birthday soon after

DM boots
Jeans
Nike hoodie
Cash
Art supplies (lots)
Earrings
PJs
Cashmere jumper
Neom diffuser
Lego set (there are some lovely ones for teens)

SSOYS · 06/12/2021 08:10

Marc Jacobs perfume

tangyandsalty · 06/12/2021 08:16

I always loved stationery - they sell lovely notebooks/pens/folders in paperchase which will be useful for schoolwork.

I'd also buy things like nice pyjamas, clothes. UO also sell mugs and things like that, if she likes the brand.

Cherryrainbow · 06/12/2021 08:21

What does she like watching on netflix?

PawPrintsInMyPansies · 06/12/2021 09:54

Oodie
Pjs
Shower steamers
Nice notebooks/pens for study/ revision
Upgraded phone

UniBallEye · 06/12/2021 10:01

does she like to cook / bake?
Our teen dd loves to cook Asian food so we got her a 'wok hamper' and some lovely cookbooks and a korean rice cooker as part of her present this year. The wok hamper is a proper wok filled with hard to find (where we live!) ingredients. I think she will be really excited to get this.

Other thing that have been success over the years are:
Instant camera
handheld camcoder
airpods & spotify
tv for her room
velevtizer
waffle maker

Fake oodie
Squishmallow
Chopsticks wrapped with a pack of instant noodles
Rucksack/handbag
Phone case - decorative or waterproof
Teddy bear bedding
Costa voucher
Hot choc/coffee syrups
Pants, socks, hat, scarf, pjs
Lego set - architecture London, New York
Nano blocks do all sorts like Easter Island, musical instruments, animals etc.
Favourite snacks

Comefromaway · 06/12/2021 10:05

I've yet to find a teen that doesn't like an oodie (or a fake one)

BreakfastClub80 · 06/12/2021 14:26

Oodie also do huge nightshirts now too.

mattcockhand · 06/12/2021 14:39

Thanks for all the ideas folks. She does love baking, but we have more than enough books & associated gadgets. I think I may have to go down the fake ooodie route, though she already has a throw she loves wrapping herself up in...Suppose I could get a diffuser as long as it isnt a plug in....
thanks all😀

What does she watch on Netflix? Is it something popular that has merchandise like Stranger Things? A T-shirt or a hoody of her favourite tv show might be appreciated.

Puffinhead · 06/12/2021 20:29

OP, my daughter is EXACTLY the same! Very hard to buy for when she doesn’t have any interests.

Having said that I would definitely recommend an oodie - fake or not - big hit with her last year. We also bought her one of the armchair cushions (from Dunelm Mill) that she also liked.

This year we’ve bought her a new (2nd hand) phone which she already has so will just buy smaller bits for her to open - body gift set, jewellery holder, Greggs or Starbucks voucher, pjs/chocolates.

What about theatre tickets or cinema voucher?
