Help! Haven't managed to find any nice pyjamas at the usual Next/H&M/M&S type places for Dd1. She wouldn't like anything themed like Disney or Harry Potter or anything pink. Anyone got any good recommendations?

What about the tartan button up style?

We all got the navy M&S animal ones with Santa hats etc on. Love them!

I'm really struggling for my dd11 too, I've not seen any either, I bought a pair from next and tbh I don't like them, they are all either too babyish or too grown up!

CallMeMabel · 05/12/2021 23:52

Nice PJs for that age group are really scarce! I got DD11 a blue pair from Fatface with stars on them. The top is a hoodie & they're really soft and cosy, she loves them. I had looked everywhere & they were the only ones I thought she'd like, she also doesn't like anything pink or Disney...or worse unicorns.

I bought these for my 14yo DD:-

In the past, Gap have had some up to about age 12-13.

What’s she into, and what size is she? My 12-year-old is in adult sizes so that opens up a different range.

Tu by Sainsbury’s had some nice stuff e.g.
Christmas star

LittleMousewithcloggson · 06/12/2021 00:05

Morrisons have some nice ones for teens and adults

42andnotaclue · 06/12/2021 00:10

Oops just realised you said NOT Harry Potter!

Justajot · 06/12/2021 00:10

John Lewis have some nice ones, though it depends on whether you're after adult or child sizes.

I spent ages looking at H&M, Next etc and then found adult size ones for DD1 and kids ones for DD2, both on John Lewis.

Tu definitely. Adult size pyjamas but that girls would love . My 12 year old is in adult size 10 now due to her height . I bought some lovely sloth ones from there .

I got these for my DD13. They are lovely. Think she's been in them most of the weekend. The rest of the family have matching and I want some too!

Thanks for the recommendations. I looked at Tu but she's still quite small and most of the size 6 & 8s had gone. I have gone for a Fat Face pair which I wouldn't have thought of so thanks for the tip @CallMeMabel. Feel like there is a bit of a gap in the market though for not too girly but still cute PJs for this age group.

Sorry just re-posting the link as previous one cut off half the results!

I got my daughter lovely soft velvety reindeer ones from the women’s section in Sainsbury’s.

PerditaNitt · 06/12/2021 20:24

Check the boys sections for more variety - you may get some nice ones with checked bottoms and plain tops which you can sew some sparkly buttons or trim onto.

Kerplunkk · 06/12/2021 20:49

Asda usually have lovely PJs in

RabbitFooFoo · 06/12/2021 21:14

I got the same as Ouch44 from Next for my 14 year old.
