Gift for nursery staff?

Do people get gifts for the staff at nursery? Is a tub of celebrations OK? Help last minute panicking!

Hello, I work at a nursery - lots of people do but there is absolutely no expectation on anyone to do so. So if you like the place and the people, a box of sweets or any small gesture is always appreciated, but it’s no big deal if you don’t imo.

I got a small gift for dc's teacher that dc gave excitedly with a little card and a tin of biscuits for rest of the team. We are doing similar this year.

Same. Small seasonal chocolates plus a child-made card (if DC are up for it..) per teacher. I also usually get a big pack of coffee and biscuits for the cleaning staff at nursery because they are lovely and Christmas feels like a nice time to show my appreciation.

I've got biscuits and chocs from M&S for office staff who help me out no end.

Teacher and 2 Teaching Assistants have a Costa Gift Card and mini Lindts along with a card.

Don't put pressure on yourself life is hard enough. I would imagine that anything you give will be appreciated

We just gifted a book to the nursery.

I work in a nursery, chocolates and biscuits, or my favourite a multipack of haribo are always appreciated. Its such a busy time for us we could all do with a sugar hit throughout the day!! Individually wrapped things are better as they keep longer.

Maybe consider taking them in before the last day of term so they can enjoy them in the run up to Christmas 🎄
