That are as similar to the good old traditional ones as possible! The same pointy shape, the same warm glow, the same physical warmth... I can't keep spending all my savings on the old fashioned ones that only last the month! I hate change though, and really would like to find ones as close to what I've always used as can be.

I know exactly what you're after, op. I am just looking myself. I don't like the coloured LED lights now - the colour lacks the warmth and depth that I remember. I'm after a set of multicoloured lights with a deeper colour and those little plastic shades.

NOMA do those kind of fairy lights still, the style is called Pickwick. I bought an LED version from Lights4Fun, you could try there?

The colours aren't entirely true in LED, as the diodes aren't the same as the filament bulbs, but it's getting harder to find traditional style lights and most manufacturers don't do any that are not LEDs. My mum had a set in the 70s that were Pickwick in pastel colours with beautiful dimpled shades. I loved them so much and have always wanted some just like it for my tree, but I don't think anyone makes them any more.

Lovely! I shall have a look. Thank you.

I know what you mean, even the warm white are too stark somehow. What I have realised is that some more modern decorations like the clear acrylic or glass look good with the LEDs
Also I’m sorry to say you won’t get an LED that gives off warmth I don’t think ☹️
