Can Hermes delivery drivers accept a cash gift?

Our Hermes delivery driver is fantastic and I'd like to put some cash in a Christmas card for him. What amount do you think would be appropriate and will he be allowed to keep it? Do you tip your delivery guys?

Yes of course, I'm sure it would be much appreciated.
Our Hermes driver is great, I think last year I put either £10 or £20 in a card for him, I'll do the same again this year.

Yeah we always give our regular delivery drivers £20 and a tin of chocolates (we get A LOT of deliveries due to our business so they earned it!!)

In terms of legality, they probably shouldn’t receive gifts of money. But who is going to know. We had a delivery of heavy items, we gave £5 tip, also to delivery driver for a dishwasher £5, as he took away packaging. I will tip my Tesco delivery drivers this month £5 each. All other drivers don’t even knock on the door, just leave parcel, so I won’t be able to catch them.

What a lovely idea. I must remember to give my Hermes driver a gift, she's just brilliant.

We did last year. He was well happy. I hope he just kept it to himself, Hermes don't need to know! No one needs to know

We gave ours £10 last year, she was made up.

I would consider giving mine a tip as I do get a lot of deliveries but it would be impossible when all they ever do is Chuck parcel in hedge, flower bed, under car, in bin, just strewn on driveway, and then run off! They don’t even leave a card anymore or bigger with the doorbell.

My Hermes delivery lady gets a bottle of wine and my regular postman gets chocolates.
