Playmobil set for 5 year old with little brother

Hoping that someone can recommend a Playmobil set for a 5 year old - he loves animals and vehicles - but needs to be one that is reasonably robust as he has a 2 year old brother

Does his brother still nap? It would be good to get it out then. Playmobil, apart from the 1.2.3 range, is great but rough handling will break bits off and there are plenty of chokable sized pieces too, so best to keep away from toddlers. I've always waited til they were at least 3.

Anyway, what's your budget?

Depends on what the brother is like. My 18 month old plays with her sisters playmobil and hasn't broken anything yet, but I guess some kids are rougher than others with toys.

All playmobil is great, it depends on your budget but if he likes animals a farm or zoo is a good starting place.

25% off quite a lot of stuff on the playmobil website

My 5 year old has the plane, as long as I take the accessories out (little cups, a handbag etc) my 22m old can play with it fine.

I have found the vehicles to be more robust than the playsets. We have a plane and a campervan, and getting a fire engine and a recycling truck for Christmas, which are both compatible with the remote control.

Ds7 has the farm and police station. Dd6 has the pony farm & hospital, Dd 4 has the safari & is getting the fire station for Christmas. They have a sibling who is 2.5. The pony farm & farm withstand the toddler as do all the vehicles (diggers, ambulances, police cars, jeeps, breakdown truck). The police station is fiddly and always falls apart. The safari set is ok too. I keep the tiny bits in a box and get them out when youngest is not playing with them. Youngest Ds has the 123 farm but isn’t very interested in it, prefers the older ones sets his favourites are the pony farm & showjumping bits and the breakdown truck along with the police Porsche which seems very robust.
