So DS wanted a Wii ....

And I really got my finger out in early November, got one, and Wii play, and extra numchuk and so forth. It's tested it's wrapped....... And for the last 2 weeks he's told everyone he wants a DS LITE .

Now Don't get me wrong, I know he'll like the Wii when it's opened (and I didn't want him to have a DS anyway, too solitary).

But I do rather feel one goes to all that trouble then ......

for 2 months DS told everyone he wanted racing cars on a track 'like Tommy Zoom has'.
I researched the car situation and eventually bid for a set on ebay and won them in a tense nailbiting showdown etc etc.

Now of course all he wants (he says) is a guitar...when asked about cars he says "what? cars? no".

you never know, it could be that he knows that wiis are like gold dust and he's just saying that he wants a ds because he's trying to make you feel better about not being able to get him a wii?

Thing is, DH's company is holding a high tea for all the families on Wednesday (a lovely idea) and the managing director is being santa. He has asked to be primed on childrens wishes, and if the parents need him to say anything particular.

Thing is he's french with a lovely, but obviously, french accent. DS is going to know.
