Letters from Father Christmas

Why do bother? Every year, I make a big fuss over sending letters to FC, with my mindees. We have a proper log fire, so we write the letters and then ceremoniously kiss them for luck and I pop them in the fire. I get them to write them on coloured paper, so that the flame glows a magical green colour too!

2 particlar girls have been doing this with me for 3 years and have kept asking me about doing them, so we did them on Friday. I was a bit shocked as the pair of them (7 & 9 years) wrote their orders to FC. Their was no magic for them at all really, it was almost like a list of instructions for what they must have. Really quite spoilt like.

So, this morning, having delivered replies to their house on Saturday morning, I asked them if they had had a reply yet. (I thought they might mention it to me, but no!) Neither of them could even remember what FC had written to them! Is it just me, or does that just smake of being spoilt little brats. They're not 3 years old, they just wanted to make sure he knew what they MUST have.

I wouldn't mind, but I made a very clever reference to having trouble getting a Wii for one of them and even Reindeer Comet, couldn't help!
