My dad and step mum are 90 and 88 respectively. They love eating out, especially Michelin star restaurants so I always buy them a gift voucher towards the meal. Can't afford the total cost!

I’m getting my parents a pair of decent camping chairs to use when they go to the beach, for picnics, watching the dc at sports events etc…

I’ve just sent a hamper of nice food things that DM wouldn’t normally buy for herself - biscuits, chutneys, crackers, preserves etc.

My auntie is 70+ and requested The Lyrics by Paul McCartney.

My DPs really appreciated charity gifts, they have everything they want/need and just didn't want any more 'stuff' in their lives.

Although I did buy my DM a personalised tin of Quality Street! She will love that!

My eldest child is in uni so I've bought a voucher for an overnight stay in a town near to her for my DPs. As it was quite reasonable I'll stump up for an evening meal too so they won't be much out of pocket. That way they can have a cheap trip away to spend time with my DD on their own. Whilst some might not like that, I know they will!

Just looking at seed subscription boxes for my mum and wondered if anyone had tried these? I might put a post in the gardening section to see what thoughts are
