UNCLE JOHNS RUMMY
3-4 players use two packs of cards inc jokers, 5-7 players three packs and so on.
There are six rounds , 11 cards per person. Each go you pick up a card from the discard pile or blind and then throw one away - if someone around the table discards a card you want you shout “Buy” and you can have it plus a penalty card . The object of each round is to get rid of all your cards - for example in round 1 you need to make 2 sets (ie three kings, three 4’s etc ) once you have your two sets on your turn you can lay them face up on the table - once your down on the table … and it’s your turn you can add to your own sets or somebody else who is down - Once somebody’s got rid of all their cards the round is over and that person receives a zero score, other people have to add the value of the cards left in their Hand and that is their score ( jokers 15, Aces 11, face cards 10 rest of cards their own value )
The winner of the whole game is the one with lowest score overall after round 6 . When it’s your tuen you must always pick one card and discard one card. In rounds you can only have exactly what’s specified so for example round 1 is for 2 sets - so even if you had a third set you cannot put it down .
The very last round all of your cards must go down in one move…
