What's your M&S like for Christmas gifts?

Because I've just been disappointed going into my local one. It's not a huge store but big enough.
I love popping in at Christmas to nosy around the Christmas gifts and buy novelty stuff for dc and their stockings. I have bought loads of little games and stuff in the past.
Today there was nothing...
I went upstairs because they usually have a huge Christmas section up there... again nothing.
Is this just my local one or are they all crap this year?

Hardly anything in mine this year, apart from a load of Percy pig merch. Even the kids were disappointed.

Disappointing visit for me too. Went for beauty treats for MiL. Hardly anything.

But tbh found the entire high street shopping experience really dismal. Not just M&S.

Well they shut my local store, so I went to the nearest, Handforth Dean. Utter shite. Bland, depressing and useless unless you like 'light up' stuff or are a Percy Pig obsessive . Even the cafe is crap, serving drinks to drink in said cafe, in paper cups which smell of fish. Dire.

Retail is well and truly dead isn't it?

My M&S has gorgeous decorations, lovely light up chocolate boxes, nice candles and bath bombs.

Really disappointing, hardly any decent quality gifts, rubbish christmas cards and a ridiculous amount of drab knitwear!
M&S used to be my go to for christmas but not this year

I thought mine was lovely, lots of decorations, big display of candles & home decorations. I bought some novelty bath bombs for the kids, and a nice outfit for myself.

Just been in one of our local ones today and it was fully stocked with loads of light up chocolate boxes, shortbread houses, loads of Christmas food, lightup gin, wine, candles, fuffy socks, jewellery, toiletries, perfume, decorations etc

Oh i got the chocolate spray cream in for Christmas and got my eye on the chocolate/strawberry/salted caramel flavour clotted creams! Had to stop myself but may get one of those in too closer to Christmas!

Thought M&s was really poor for Christmas stuff when I went in for a look.
Even their wrapping paper (usually lovely) is awful this year.
