Help! 'A dragon that turns into a ball' - is this a real toy?!

My 3.5 yo is absolutely adamant that what he wants for Christmas is 'a dragon that turns into a ball then back into a dragon'. He insists he has seen such a thing but doesn't know where... Has anyone else encountered such a thing?! I've googled and the best I can find is this:

Could he mean a Bakugan toy? They are dragon type creatures that fold up into a ball.

That's right, Bakugan. My son has these! There is a red one though and it's a dragon - can't remember it's name - and it's about the size of a grapefruit when put into a ball. I think it has a button you press and it roars (or whatever noise it is dragons make 😂)

Yep, I'll second Bakugan. Various creatures which turn into balls, somewhere between Pokémon and transformers. Bound to be a dragon one I reckon

I'm a childminder and one of my children loved these balls, it was a few years ago. They're small about the size of a bouncy ball , when dropped they open in to different dragons etc. For the life of my I can't remember what their called .
