I really can't be arsed to deal with the bloody elf, so I told my kids that due to covid rules santa has soo many elfs in isolation etc that he doesn't gave enough to send them to all houses, so as he know they ate good all year (as if) and don't need keeping an eye on we wouldn't get one 🤣🤣 worked brilliantly.

Because obviously with the new travel restrictions Elf might have to quarantine for a few days after his journey from the North Pole...

One of the best things about having young kids is the insane stories you can make up when things go tits up!

They are 8&10. They know its a toy. We just play hide and seek with it.
