We have had a lovely special Sants day out with all the family this year. I just wondered where everybody else has been to see Santa in the South East and would you recomend it for next year.

We went to the Bluebell Railway- was fantastic.

Bockets Farm near Leatherhead - lovely grotto made from haybales, FC himself was a charming young man.

Thanks. We've done the Bluebell railway before and loved it!
Any other suggestions for visiting Santa?

We like Exbury, you get to go on the little train and the grotto is beautifully done.

We went to the Lavender Line (nr Isfield) yesterday. Only a small operation, with a short steam train ride but they all went to so much trouble and everyone was very friendly. Santa was great and spent at least 10 minutes with my son, asking him where he'd leave the presents and whether we had a chimney (noted it all down in his big book!). Quite made our day. The free coffee and mince pies helped as well.
